Community details
Initially working in Denmark and Lebanon, GAME has since brought the power of street sports to many parts of the world. In Ghana, the organization challenges gender-based discrimination and inequality. Head east to Somaliland and Kenya, and you’ll find GAME addressing tensions between clans and young people with varying political affiliations. While in Lebanon, one of its original areas of impact, GAME brings people from all backgrounds together to tackle discrimination and xenophobia. Throughout GAME’s efforts, equality is pivotal in its strategies, programs, and operations to create opportunities that meet everyone's needs and interests.
About the organization
GAME aims to foster lasting social change through youth-led street sports and culture. The organization specializes in creating safe environments for physical movement and social interactions. It brings young people together to help bridge divides and promote social cohesion. GAME uses Sport for Development methodology and a life skills approach to train and enable the empowerment of young people to build capacity and become agents of change in their communities. The organization creates opportunities for participants to gain responsibility, be in leadership roles, and become role models.

United by Sport
At the heart of GAME’s work lies the belief that every young person has the potential to be a leader in their life and community. The organization works around the world to enable the empowerment of young people to overcome barriers, fight discrimination, and push for a more inclusive future - all through the power of street sports.
