What makes the initiative unique is its mentorship model, bringing together LGBTQIA+ associations, grassroots sport clubs, and sport-for-good organizations to drive lasting organizational change through peer learning, inclusion action planning, and collaboration across Europe.

LGBT Youth Scotland is Scotland’s national charity for LGBTQIA+ young people, supporting those aged 13–25 to thrive through youth work, advocacy, and community-building. The organization creates safe and inclusive spaces where young people can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and use their voices to shape more equal and welcoming communities across Scotland.


LGBT Forum Progress is Montenegro’s oldest LGBTQIA+ organization, working to advance equality, inclusion, and human rights for LGBTQIA+ people. Through community building, advocacy, education, and support services, the organization creates safer and more inclusive environments, while empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals to participate fully in society, including in sport and community life.
ACATHI is a non-profit organization that works for the reception, protection and social inclusion of LGBTIQ+ migrants and refugees. Since their creation in 2003, they have accompanied those who have been forced to move due to their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, promoting safe spaces, inclusive policies and the recognition of their human rights.

Grassroots sport organizations committed to advancing LGBTQIA+ inclusion, strengthening their organizational capacity, and contributing to shared learning across the sector.
Walsall FC Foundation is the official charity of Walsall Football Club, using the power of football to create positive social change across the local community. Through programs focused on health and wellbeing, sport participation, inclusion, and education, the Foundation supports people of all ages to improve their physical and mental wellbeing, develop new skills, and access opportunities that strengthen their lives and communities.


Track Academy supports children and young people from under-resourced communities in North West London by combining athletics, education, and mentoring to help them overcome barriers and achieve their potential. Through sport, one-to-one mentoring, life skills workshops, and educational support, the organization builds confidence, resilience, and opportunity, while creating inclusive environments where all young people can thrive and shape their own futures.
CCPA Bosnia and Herzegovina uses grassroots football to promote social inclusion, reconciliation, and peaceful coexistence among children and young people. Through its Open Fun Football Schools programme, the organization brings together children from diverse backgrounds, mobilises youth volunteers as coaches and role models, and creates safe, inclusive spaces where sport serves as a tool for community building and positive social change.


FK Breznica is a grassroots football club from Montenegro that uses sport to promote social inclusion, gender equality, and a sense of belonging for young people. Working with more than 200 children and youth, the club is a leader in girls’ football and is committed to ensuring that every young person, regardless of gender or background, has the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive.
La Rotllana is a community-based organization from Badalona, Spain, that empowers children and young people through sport, non-formal education, and community action. Working with more than 8,500 participants each year, La Rotllana promotes social inclusion, active participation, and equal opportunities for young people facing social, cultural, and economic barriers, using sport as a tool to build leadership, confidence, and belonging.


UFEC (Union of Sports Federations of Catalonia) represents 71 sports federations and more than 8,000 sports clubs across Catalonia, working to make sport more inclusive, accessible, and safer for all. Through training, capacity building, and grassroots initiatives, UFEC supports sports organizations in addressing barriers related to gender, disability, socio-economic background, and discrimination, helping create diverse and welcoming environments where everyone can participate and belong.
