About the program

United By Sport strives to leverage the transformational power of sport to promote equality and fight hate and discrimination which can come in all its forms, spanning various grounds such as religion or belief, racial or ethnic origin, gender, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation and more. The United by Sport program has been created to provide support to organizations that fight such hate and discrimination through sport or in the sport sector.

Request for proposals

Application period:
The application form is open from March 18th until May 31st, 2024.

Evaluation period:
The evaluation process is expected to last until end of September 2024.

As outlined in the United by Sport RFP Guidelines, eligible organizations can apply for funding in one of two categories, but not both:

Project Specific Funding

Proposals for funding ranging from a minimum amount of 150,000 EUR to a maximum amount of 700,000 EUR.

General Programming Funding

General operational support of up to 50,000 EUR per year for a maximum of three years.
